OneGuard is one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned home warranty companies in America and is the market leader in Arizona with additional offices throughout Texas. We're growing fast and looking for highly motivated, honest and personality-driven professionals to take our Phoenix Authorization department to new levels of service.
The Authorizer I will show empathy to the customer and take ownership as they see claims through to resolution.  In the event that the repair or replacement does not happen the same day, the specialist will work with the service provider to communicate status updates in a timely manner to the customer.  
This is a position that career paths to Authorizer II.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES                                        

•    Assist customers by answering questions about warranty service and coverage.
•    Take inbound calls from customers calling in for a status update on open claims.
•    Make outbound calls to contractors to obtain information on the status of a work order and provide authorizations as necessary.
•    Delivering decisions to customers regarding the diagnosis of their failure and educate the homeowner on how the warranty works.
•    Responding promptly to emails from customers and other departments regarding the status of open work orders.
•    Proactively work the Open Work Order Queue by following up with contractors on open work orders (NOTE:  The Open Work Order Queue is in the process of being created).
•    Manage your Work Space and emails in an efficient and organized manner, promptly responding to the needs of customers and contractors.
•    Communicate OneGuard’s vision and quality service expectations with contractors during the Claim Resolution Process. 
•    Create an environment that is appealing and friendly to contractors, customers and peers. 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE                                            
•    Previous Home Warranty, Contractor, or Construction experience is preferred
•    1+ years of customer service or quality assurance experience
•    Service-oriented and collaborative team player 
•    The right attitude to handle tough calls positively and in a friendly manner.
•    Strong attention to detail
•    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
•    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
•    Interest in developing into an Authorizer II
