Job Description

Position Overview
Represents the OneGuard business unit to customers and business partners (e.g., contractors, realtors, etc.). Acquires knowledge and understanding of product coverage and must adhere to departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a professional and businesslike relationship with both internal and external customers. Provides every customer with the best possible service experience.

Job Responsibilities
1. Assists customers, contractors, and/or business partners via inbound and outbound telephone calls, written correspondence and/or electronic communication according to all policies, procedures and contract coverage
2. Learn and exhibit a solid understanding of our various warranty plans and options.
3. Explains and upholds contract coverage to customers and/or contractors
4. Follows up with customers, contractors, and/or business partners to ensure customer service issues are resolved
5. Maintains current knowledge of all policies, procedures, programs and completes required continuing education courses

Job Requirements
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2. Customer service experience and/or training preferred Customer service
3. Computer literacy
4. Problem solving and decision making
5. Attention to detail
6. Multi-tasking
7. Adapt to a fast-paced environment
8. Must be a relationship-builder with an ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Incumbent must be prepared to:
• Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.
• Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
• Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.
Incumbent is required to have:
• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
