Position Overview

Provides overall responsibility for enterprise-wide distribution and warehousing operations to include contract management, supply chain logistics and vendor relationships, mail service operations, and oversight of warehouse management systems.



Job Responsibilities

  • Provides overall responsibility for enterprise-wide distribution and warehousing operations.
  • Provides contract management for enterprise-wide supply chain logistics and distribution agreements.
  • Manages current supply chain logistics and distribution vendor relationships.
  • Oversees mail services operations.
  • Manages consolidation of Memphis warehouse operations and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Develops and maintains key customer relationships with business unit stakeholders and supplier partners to ensure alignment of objectives and priorities.
  • Assesses and drives continuous improvement in processes, policies, procedures, information, automation, systems, intelligence, and innovation.
  • Leads, manages, and develops a team of associates to improve skills, performance, effectiveness, and provides superior customer support.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience working with a multi-facility, geographically dispersed service company with diverse supply chains, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Training or certification in Six Sigma or Lean principles preferred.
  • Experience in successfully developing or aligning systems to support operational process and strategies preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in team building, developing people and effective communication with direct reports and in cross functional or matrix relationships.
  • Utilizes analytical skills in evaluating cost effective solutions and maximizing return on investment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change across diverse businesses.

Incumbent must be prepared to:

  • Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
  • Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.
  • Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
  • Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.


Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
