Position Overview

Responsible for the most complex and interpretive financial analyses related to payment compliance. Provides periodic reports and special studies for management. Responsible for identifying failures or unexpected results related to payment application.  May partner with associates, supervisors, managers, directors, and leadership to improve processes and identify bad debt reduction opportunities.  May coach less-experienced Financial Analysts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting related to down payment compliance.  Including 20% down payment compliance for TC report/email, bed bug compliance report/email, and tracking disposition from emailed or other compliance reports
  • Track recovery payments received by Terminix and report back to 3rd party collection agency
  • Report credit balances related to initial services and specials and track to resolution.
  • Report Payment Transactions, Counts, and $'s- E-mail
  • Report out on returned payments for initial services
  • Automate the pulling of Vantiv session reports – credit card transactions for review and analysis
  • First payment and authorization research and disposition plus uploading back to QlikView
  • AR allowance reporting - new QlikView app, ongoing enhancements to file sending out to the field
  • A/R allowance audit (25 random samples)
  • Chargeback reporting
  • iQor reporting utilizing QlikView
  • Calculate SMAC allowance for doubtful account
  • Provide detailed analytical support for accounts receivable, allowance or remittance activities for Mission and JDE
  • Build dashboards to review performance metrics with management and team.
  • Consults with other team members to analyze opportunities and alternatives for improving financial performance
  • Engages in project planning & implementation
  • May oversee the completion of projects or assignments including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a related field required.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.
  • MS/MA/MBA preferred.
  • CPA/CFA license preferred.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of a particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments.
  • Advanced knowledge of the organization’s technologies and practices.
  • Ability to provide insightful analytics to executive management
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with accounting and IT teams
  • Ability to identify variances and trends
  • Strong knowledge of PC related tools for detailed analysis, technology applications, and data utilization
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to write standard reports that clearly communicate findings and methodologies

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen, and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
