Position Overview

Responsible for the identification, development, and pursuit of growth opportunities related to pricing; drive implementation as required. Manages data requirements, executing zero defect pricing analyses to identify opportunities and measure impact. Manages pricing efforts, delivers pricing insights and action recommendations and ensures timely delivery of output.



Job Responsibilities

  • Identifies opportunities through financial and quantitative analysis using regression time series and price elasticity and other pricing analyses.
  • Proposes strategic pricing actions to key stakeholders based on analyses; partners with stakeholders to execute against identified pricing opportunities and measure impact.
  • Leads design and management of price tests as well as customer segmentation to tailor pricing actions based on expected behavior of pricing segments.
  • Manages pricing efforts, delivers pricing insights and actions recommendations and ensures timely delivery of output.
  • Collaborates with marketing and other functional teams and leaders to develop and execute analytic outputs.
  • Leads the development and standardization of pricing practices and processes.
  • Transforms customer data into standard, insightful metrics / reporting, and analytics in support of stronger produce and sales pricing decisions.
  • Designs and develops data and system work flows and processes in partnership with IT organization.
  • Manages third party vendor relationships for competitor monitoring and consumer research.
  • Gathers data from internal and external sources to feed analyses.
  • Leads client meetings/presents materials.
  • Integrates information from multiple sources/resources and effectively communicates results.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 6 years directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • BS/BA in related discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Engineering strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (including problem structuring, detailed analysis and recommendation development)
  • Strong financial analysis & modeling skills, ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to write compelling presentations)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, experience working on teams,
  • Ability to demonstrate drive, energy and self-motivation
  • Ability to build strategic working relationships
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of database management
  • Ability to procure and clean data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
