Job Description

We’re growing and are looking for a Real Estate Sales Director to lead the OneGuard Home Warranty and Landmark Home Warranty Account Executives in the major Texas markets including Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston.

This position is remote based and it is preferred that the Director resides in one of the Texas Markets listed above. Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Frequent travel to all of the Texas Markets will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Leadership – You are the primary ambassador and guardian of the company vision, philosophy, strategy and values in Texas.
2. Hiring And Employee Reviews – In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition and the Senior Director of Real Estate Sales, you are responsible for the interviewing, hiring and training of all new Account Executives in the Texas metro markets. In addition, you will be responsible to provide Account Executives with constructive feedback on their performance through employee reviews
3. Training And Development – It is expected that you will ensure that all Account Executives receive on-going sales training, presentation skills training, product training, industry training, client retention training and other training to prepare them to effectively accomplish their work according to OneGuard and Landmark’s vision, strategy and goals. You will also help team members accomplish company goals via regular coaching, mentoring and modeling. Additional training responsibilities include holding weekly sales meetings to teach, train and conduct consistent field trainings with Account Executives.
4. Be a Resource to Team Members – You are expected to be a resource to all team members and help them make decisions based on the company’s vision, philosophy and principles. As manager, you should facilitate an open-door atmosphere so that team members feel comfortable to approach you with questions and concerns.
5. Business Planning And Establishment Of Annual Goals And Budgets – You will be responsible for developing annual sales goals and budgets for the Texas market. In the formation of your annual sales goals, you will ensure each team member sets personal sales goals that will focus on increasing market share. You will also ensure that each team member submits a written action plan describing how they will achieve their goals.
6. Private Label And Joint Marketing Alliances – You are expected to assist the Account Executives in developing joint marketing alliances and private-label programs with real estate companies. You will be responsible for approving each new private label program. Further, you will be responsible to make sure that private label programs will be financially successful and that they are set-up according to company standards.
7. Reporting – You are expected to report a weekly collective performance of team members including updating the Scorecard, Goals and Metrics and the commission report.
8. OneGuard/Landmark Management Team – It is expected that you participate as an active member of the Management Team.
9. Other Duties And Responsibilities – Other duties and responsibilities may be required as necessary.

1. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of sales and/or account management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience required, preferably within a sales function
3. Experience within the real estate, home warranty, and/or insurance fields strongly preferred/li>
4. Proficiency in strategic sales management
5. Knowledge of the real estate and home warranty fields
6. Business and financial acumen
7. Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
8. Negotiation and persuasion skills
9. Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
10. Attention to detail

Incumbent is required to have:
•Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
•Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
