Job Description

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Lead efforts to complete separation from Terminix through design and implementation of stand-alone SMB treasury processes, technology (Kyriba and other tools), and governance framework
  • Liaise with Terminix to facilitate timely exit of transition services agreements (“TSAs”)
  • Lead subsequent treasury optimization efforts to improve SMB’s operating environment
  • Define and execute global cash, liquidity, and banking strategies, including related infrastructure, to enable efficient use of liquidity across SMB entities
  • Perform daily cash positioning activities, including developing daily cash position, performing prior-day cash position reconciliation, and monitoring bank reporting
  • Develop and manage short-term cash flow forecast in coordination with internal stakeholders, including forecast vs. actual cash flow variance analysis
  • Identify and address cash surplus or deficit positions and work with relevant stakeholders to optimize global liquidity
  • Maintain banking infrastructure by coordinating bank account openings, closings, and changes in coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Perform bank fees analysis and resolve fee discrepancies
  • Support activities related to establishing, measuring, and evaluating bank performance
  • Support negotiation of fees associated with bank infrastructure and services
  • Work with internal stakeholders to manage efficient payments and collections environment, including relevant infrastructure, processes, technology, and controls
  • Support timely and accurate processing of payments
  • Coordinate capital management activities, including securitization programs, debt covenant compliance, and other related activities
  • Support treasury planning and budgeting efforts
  • Facilitate compliance with internal and external controls, policies, and procedures
  • Support management reporting, audit, and other related activities


Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:

  • 5-7 years of related Treasury or finance experience in a public or private company environment
  • Knowledge of cash management principles, including cash collections and disbursements principles
  • Understanding of financial theory and applications and of financial statement analysis
  • Understanding of general banking infrastructure, bank communication, and payment clearing systems
  • Strong knowledge of commercial banking products, Fed clearing rules, and asset settlement procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CCM, CTP, or MBA preferred
  • Experience using and/or implementing Kyriba or other treasury systems preferred
  • Analytical, interpersonal, communications, time management, and project management skills
  • Strong computer skills with experience using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

  • Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
