Position Overview

Under general direction, this position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Senior HRS Analyst also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing configuration of business processes, objects etc associated with specific Workday functionality
  • Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new Workday functions.
  • Assist with end-user testing and quality assurance.
  • Assign location, supervisory, company, cost center, and custom organizations to workers.
  • Implement realignments and reporting relationship changes in Workday.
  • Ensure that accurate data is transferred within set deadlines to payroll, benefits suppliers, etc.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by proactively running queries and analyzing data.
  • Trouble-shoots complex customer and system issues including error messages, login difficulties, access denials, data issues and process failures in Workday.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of direct Workday experience preferred, including configuring business processes including notifications, security policies, routing, and condition rules; creating and maintaining reports; and providing customer support to managers and employees.
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel
  • Ability to work effectively with business partners in other parts of the organization, including IT, Finance, etc. .

• Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

• Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

• Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have: 

• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
