Position Overview

Support the analytical needs of the business through the analysis of complex system data and summary reports.


Job Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of BMC Remedy (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Critical Incident Management command and control to help direct recovery efforts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to multi task with a high sense of urgency.
  • Collect and analyze date to enable decision making and process improvement for specialty area.
  • Manipulate highly complex data and extrapolate trends and patterns.
  • Identify opportunity trends and recommend solutions.
  • Work with internal/external customer to implement recommended solutions for specialty area.
  • Design and prep various reports, charts, graphs to depict trends. (BMC Smart Reporting)
  • Coordinate and present various summaries and briefings to senior management.
  • Identify Root Cause and implement improvements with in the role and Information Technology organization.
  • Support business process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years’ work experience in the specialty area or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Work is performed in a 24/7 Information Technology Environment.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekend and holidays on an on-call basis.
  • Experience with using BMC Remedy.
  • ITILv3 Foundations Certification(preferred).
  • Ability to work on-site 100% in Memphis, TN
