Job Description



Position Overview

Responsible for a strategic role in developing, planning, and providing support for due diligence activities across all IT functions.  Compiles due diligence integration plans and supports the M&A team, in order to enable informed decision making for sensitive merger and acquisition transactions. Partners in the creation and implementation of the long term IT business plan ensuring its alignment with overall corporate strategy, goals and values.



Job Responsibilities

  • Works in partnership with M&A team to help streamline and account for IT integration expenses for all acquisitions and mergers.
  • Manages and owns IT works to be executed as part of M&A activity.
  • Manages and supports IT M&A staff in supporting M&A activity and integrations.
  • Manages relationships with M&A and IT acting as the primary voice from IT to the leadership in the M&A/ BU function.
  • Under the guidance of the VP IT Infrastructure, develops IT strategic plans for the M&A team.
  • Leads the M&A IT staff through improved IT and enterprise proposals for new projects and technologies agreement on allocations and agreement for corporate strategy.
  • Provides the M&A IT functions with insight into current and future requirements including application planning, technology planning, and volume metrics.
  • Ensures budget development and monitoring as well as allocation management and planning for M&A IT projects.
  • Ensures M&A IT staff captures and reports benefits for all approved acquisition projects.
  • Contributes to the development, review, and compliance of IT policies and procedures within M&A Function including project approval process, signature authority policy, information security policies and processes, and disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
     


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years experience in similar leadership role
  • 10+ years experience in project management and process improvement
  • Must be familiar with IT systems and concepts in an enterprise environment
  • In depth knowledge of large (10M+) budget project management
  • Experience with IT strategic planning and budget management required Knowledge of information systems and business processes
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical in nature
  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Capable of dealing with vague ideas or concepts to conceive and implement a plan
  • Knowledge and skill to prepare and manage complex budgets
  • Project management
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have: 

• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
