Job Description

Position Overview
Creates and administers human resources policies, programs and practices, including: planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Manages and formulates company policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to senior management. The position will primarily support the Terminix Customer Center organization that includes four geographically dispersed customer call centers. The position will also assume other generalist and HR project responsibilities.

• Directs and administers HR policies, procedures, and programs for assigned business unit
• Partners with business unit management to understand business drivers and facilitate HR operations and strategy
• Partners with the HR functions and management to continually develop, and implement and enhance HR strategy
• Directs and oversees a variety of other HR programs, activities and projects
• Ensures the optimization of processes through technology and subsequent conversion and implementation
• Directs, develops, and mentors a staff of HR professionals

Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration, psychology, education or related field;
• 3+ years general experience in the HR field; experience in a customer call center is a plus
• Master’s Degree in human resources or related personnel/human resources field is preferred
• Generally 8+ years of managerial and supervisory experience in public or private personnel management or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Certified Senior Professional (SPHR) preferred
