Job Description



Position Overview

Assists managers in all aspects of corporate leasing, payments, database management and special projects. Acts as a liaison between Region/Branch personnel and Landlords/Management firms. Under minimal supervision, prepares lease forms and tracks company-wide facility leases, coordinates accounting and payment functions.



Job Responsibilities

  • Assists management in developing strategies to negotiate leases including preliminary market data research, file preparation, compiling key contact information on all projects as well as other lease related issues
  • Prepares lease documents and maintains database information on all active leases, and confirms/updates any corporate or property changes to ensure accuracy
  • Monitors active leases and sets up new projects for new leases, renewal projects, and exit procedures for terminating leases
  • Prepares financial approval forms and route for approval to specific operations management
  • Oversees billing for multi-tenant locations and authorizes all monthly rental payments.
  • Authorizes monthly payments, generates rent reports, and calculates CPI increases, notifies accounting, tax, risk and operations of any changes
  • Coordinates with vendors to ensure taxes are paid
  • Reviews invoices relating to property expenses and reconcile accounts
  • Requests repairs and/or maintenance of office equipment as needed


Job Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in law, accounting and/or commercial real estate
  • Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work independently

  • Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
  • Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.
  • Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
  • Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.


Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
