Job Description

Position Overview 

Manages the development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of compensation programs, including broad-base, and short and long term incentives. Conducts research, analytical review, and other support to the compensation department as requested. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Participates in design, implementation and administration of various compensation programs including broad base, short and long term incentives and sales compensation plans.  
  • Manages the annual merit and incentive planning process. 
  • Partners with field operations teams and business unit management to understand business drivers impacting various compensation programs and provides recommendations on key pay plans. 
  • Acts in a consultative capacity to proactively resolve a variety of Compensation-related issues and concerns. 
  • Assists in the preparation of Board of Director Compensation Committee materials and other compensation-related filings. 
  • Provides guidance to management and HR Business Partners with regards to compensation practices, promotional activities, and career development. 
  • Responsible for identifying processes that can be performed more efficiently through technology and then conversion of these processes. 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field 
  • 7+ years of progressive Compensation experience 
  • Sales compensation design and administration skills highly preferred 
  • Broad knowledge of base, incentive, and/or executive compensation principles and practices, including analysis, design, administration, and regulation compliance 
  • Skill and ability to apply consultative and influencing skills in a business environment 
  • Strong communications skills, including delivering presentations 
  • Attention to detail, analytical and financial modeling skills 
  • Knowledge and skills to manage projects, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
