Position Overview
Ensuring operating units are in compliance with regulatory requirements and local and state regulations. Works with operational management, provides direction and leadership to technical associates and teams on regulatory items within assigned state(s) and/or other assigned geographical areas.
Job Responsibilities
Conducts random branch visits to assure compliance with laws and regulatory requirements. Reviews files and records for timely reporting of inspections and notices of completion to the state(s) pest control board.
Takes appropriate action within the limits of authority to prevent and expeditiously resolve regulatory compliance issues.
Assists as directed with company representation at state and district levels of related agencies, such as Pest Control Board, Department of Pesticide Regulation, and County Agricultural Departments.
Processes checks for license and business renewals for assigned geographical area.
Partners with management and specialists on regulatory issues and items within the branches and assures that these locations are in compliance.
Keeps abreast of regulatory development and enforcement activities. Informs Operations.
Notifies the responsible branch office of complaints and violations received from the Structural Pest Control Board, tracks the follow-up for each complaint and assists with the resolution of the complaint; maintains proper customer files for database; advises branch about deadline for fact-gathering.
Works with state Regulatory Agencies as required.
Provides general regulatory and governmental affairs related business support as directed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree or a combination of education and experience plus 5+ years of experience in related field
1-2 years of management experience required
Written and written communication skills
Time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office product (Word and Excel)
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers' license

Incumbent must be prepared to:
Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have:
Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
