Job Description



Position Overview

Manages the deal process of acquisition targets from initial contact to close. Responsible for leading outreach to prospects, initial assessments and financial modeling, internal approvals processes, management of due diligence analysts, and overall M&A transaction execution.



Job Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of Sr. M&A leader, assists in the strategic outreach to Acquisition targets.
  • Oversees and conducts target screening, including the development of financial models and business cases that help drive M&A decisions.
  • Creates, manages and presents business cases on potential acquisition targets to business units and other managers.
  • Updates and manages CRM and deal tracking tools.
  • Under the supervision of Sr. M&A leader, leads the M&A governance process and act as the project leader to ensure all approvals are in place.
  • Under the supervision of Sr. M&A leader, leads execution of business development initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships and other projects.
  • Manages team of analysts to conduct due diligence on prospects and verifies prospect company data to test initial assumptions for the deal.
  • Coordinates personnel from other Company functions and business units in executing M&A projects.
  • Assists in the development and execution of the integration plan for acquired businesses.
  • Under the supervision of the business unit, manages post close tracking.
  • Reviews deal tracking and refines M&A strategies based on deal feedback.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in related field required
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Skill in project management, coordination amongst multiple departments and between Seller and M&A team
  • Skill in negotiations
  • Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under deadline pressures; set priorities; respond to changing demands from multiple sources
  • Basic understanding of CRM tools and prospect management
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and drive for continuous efficiencies in process
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated planning and organization skills
  • Understanding of valuation techniques and related accounting concepts and financial theory

• Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have:

• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
