Job Description

Position Overview

Oversees model definition as well as data quality to ensure the best value is achieved from the Salesforce platform. Responsible for documenting the data flow through all of  the Salesforce and integrated systems to facilitate proper development and configuration initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Works with the business and architects to model data properly in Salesforce for performance, quality, and security for current needs as well as forecasted business needs.
  • Defines "quality data" and works to enforce good practices that leads toward this goal.
  • Produces necessary documentation of Data Flows, modeling etc. to support the Development Configuration process.
  • Maps data elements between all integrated systems to support a seamless ecosystem.
  • Develops, tests, and deploys solutions and workflows within Salesforce based on company's and Salesforce best practices.
  • Acts as Salesforce subject matter expert and trusted advisor for internal users.
  • Provides management information relevant to the role.
  • Interprets business functional and information needs and turns them into data requirements, process models, and active systems.
  • Works with infrastructure teams to develop solutions.
  • Manages user and system access management, set permissions and role assignments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or similar field
  • 5+ years experience with Salesforce
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both IT and business partners
  • Ability to draw solutions in an easily consumable format
  • Ability to teach and educate Salesforce to both IT and business partners/developers
  • 10 years of IT experience preferred
  • Salesforce Data Architecture & Management Designer Certification
  • Experience with at least 1 large Salesforce implementation

• Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.  

• Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.

• Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

• Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have: 

• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
