Job Description

Position Overview

Directs the overall sales, operations and distribution efforts for Product Sales Organization, to include developing pricing, establishing and negotiating contracts, overseeing franchise conventions and vendor exhibits, determining budget and sales goals, implementing policies and procedures, participating in projects, and managing vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the Product Sales P&L through a matrix driven organization
  • Develops relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for selection of products, equipment and services for SVM (ServiceMaster) franchises. Establishes and negotiates contracts to meet revenue goals.
  • Develops competitive product pricing for sales to franchisees for SVM and identifies areas for utilizing 3rd party distribution while maintaining product margins through rebates and national service providers.
  • Directs overall operation, distribution, and inventory management for all SVM distribution centers.
  • Oversees the funding and collection of funding for annual franchise conventions, vendor exhibits, and workshops.
  • Responsible for product sales to franchisees with set revenue goals.
  • Responsible for distribution/warehouse budget for sales goals, profit margins, and expenses.
  • Provides franchisee support and customer service to manage vendors and associated products to include product, equipment, service and approved distribution in 3rd party warehouse/distribution programs.
  • Manages and monitors approved service vendors to establish rebates associated with leveraging competitive pricing to franchisees for national account service companies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience
  • Certified Purchasing Management Accreditation
  • Lean certification required
  • 8 year’s experience in Supply Chain Management and Operations
  • Prior P&L responsibility is preferred
  • Contract negotiation skills and experience
  • Industry experience with franchisees, distribution, and inventory control
  • Experience with handling customer service needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
