Position Overview

Analyzes, evaluates, and implements social media activities and campaigns. Builds brand identification through penetration of online social media. Plans content on social networking websites, interactive marketing and related media. Engages in creative, marketing, and monetization efforts involving the use of social networking.



Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, manages, coordinates, and executes all social media programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborates internally and with external partners/agencies to ensure tight integration of all social media programs and initiatives.
  • Analyzes and evaluates potential social media strategies and activities.
  • Identifies, interprets, reports, and capitalizes on social trends.
  • Analyzes and reports on the results of all social media activities.
  • Creates, maintains, and executes a social media calendar and posting schedule.
  • May work with clients to assist with provided social media tools.
  • May act as liaison to integrate public relations social media activities.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 years experience managing digital/web based projects
  • 2 years experience developing and managing social media campaigns preferred
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • Vendor management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Business writing skills
  • Public-speaking and presentation skills
  • Project management
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
