Position Overview

Responsible for helping chart the course to achieve company’s vision of reinventing services through developing the annual strategic plan and tracking progress against those goals, gathering and synthesizing competitor and market intelligence, and conducting evaluations of strategic options for recommendations to leadership .




Job Responsibilities

  • Leads critical corporate development initiatives including strategic partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Owns the process for developing the annual strategic plan, and tracks progress against strategic goals.
  • Develops junior strategy team members into future business leaders.
  • Owns the gathering and synthesis of competitor and market intelligence.
  • Monitors and reports on industry and consumer trends.
  • Conducts fact-based evaluation of strategic options and provides recommendations to management.
  • Works collaboratively with leadership to ensure the successful execution of strategic goals.
  • Presents strategic plans and recommendations to leadership team and board of directors.



Job Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of business experience
  • Experience working at a management consulting firm or within a corporate strategy department
  • Significant experience managing business analysts and/or data scientists
  • Experience with direct to consumer businesses, subscription and service businesses preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Project and time management skills
  • Ability to provide strategic leadership and direction
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
