Position Overview

Responsible for effectively leveraging technology and systems within the Franchise organization. Provides thought leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost-optimization, innovation and efficiency improvement.




Job Responsibilities

  • Provides overall direction and technical guidance for the operational activities pertinent to the franchise organization and their associates in the pursuit of maximizing growth and profitability while minimizing costs.
  • Develops long-term vision of technologies and solutions specific to a franchise organization’s requirements.
  • Collaborates with IT leadership in the planning and implementation of technology roadmaps.
  • Assists the team in researching solutions, solicits input from outside industry experts and recommends solutions to meet the franchise organization’s business requirements.
  • Negotiates with key stakeholders involving the prioritization of projects and resources.
  • Drives efficiency improvement by providing technology support and training and assisting the franchise business operations in the use of information systems.
  • Provides detailed guidance to multi-functional teams in a matrixed environment through project planning and other large collaboration efforts.



Job Requirements

  • MA / MS or combination of education and experience equal to 12-15 years.
  • Prior years of experience in leading teams.
  • Experience with IT strategic planning.
  • Experience managing budgets of up to $10M.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning that meets consumer needs or solves business problems.
  • Proven ability to execute large transformational projects.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
