Job Description:
Claims Coordinator, Repair Claims
Reviews, manages, and follows up on multiple claims assigned as part of the Managed Repair Programs. Following program guidelines, determines the course of action for each claim (approval, follow-up, investigation, denial, or revision). Corresponds with insurance companies, customers, and franchisees to ensure timely and effective resolution.                                                                                      
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review assigned claims and determine necessary actions in line with program guidelines. Follow up with franchisees to obtain claim updates, estimate uploads, and confirm compliance with standards. Deliver world-class customer service through clear, concise, timely, and consistent communication with management, clients, and other stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership, issue requestors). Efficiently and accurately review franchise/vendor estimates to ensure alignment with the scope of work follow program guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the franchise network to ensure consistent estimates and invoices are delivered to clients based on the approved scope of work. Educate and train SM franchisees on estimating processes, acting as a resource to improve estimating practices across the network. Resolve and negotiate invoicing disputes with vendors and franchisees. Submit completed estimates to clients for timely payment issuance and help to ensure that payments are made following the program schedule.
  • Monitor the entire claim life cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and help create standard operating procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience in fast paced environment.
  • Construction or restoration experience a plus.
  • Experience with restoration industry programs. (DASH, Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility)
  • Ability to manage workflow efficiently (time management)
  • Detail oriented when analyzing claims
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to follow processes and have great follow through skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a positive manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Occasionally move up to 10 pounds by lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects. Sit  for extended periods while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Express or exchange ideas with others using spoken words, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discrimination in sounds in the environment.
  • Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
