This is a position to support our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand. It's a hybrid role, based out of our Michigan Support Center in Lansing, Michigan.

Network & Systems Administrator
We are currently looking for a collaborative and knowledgeable Network & Systems Administrator that will ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and security of company systems, processes, and/or assets. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to monitor the health and performance of the IT infrastructure environment to ensure the achievement of all SLAs expected by the business. In addition, you will process requests for change and ensure the organization’s standards are followed.
What you'll do:
- Manage and support the corporate server/network environment and system maintenance tools
- Support security and availability of corporate LAN/WAN
- Support the development and implementation of desktop and LAN/WAN policies and procedures
- Monitor reliability of IT systems and proactively diagnoses/repairs problems
- Assist in the administration of M365, SharePoint, and Exchange environments
- AD/Azure AD management including group policy
- Support administration of endpoint management and protection platforms
- Responsible for patch management of systems and servers
- Document processes, systems and solutions in the Wiki or knowledge base
- Handle end user support tickets via help desk/service desk issue/request tracking system
- Responsible for backup and recovery of the system configurations and data
- Configure systems via CLI and troubleshooting issues with tools like Wireshark
- Practice cyber-resiliency by following standard industry frameworks like NIST/CIS
- Participate in scheduled and spontaneous conversations daily

- Microsoft Active Directory & Azure EntraID administration
- Microsoft M365 administration
- VMWare ESXI & vSphere (v7+) administration
- MS Exchange (2016 or newer) administration
- IIS & SSL Cert administration
- SAN (PureStorage) administration
- Backup (Rubrik or Veeam) administration
- DNS & DHCP administration
- IP Networking and Firewall administration
- Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) administration
- System monitoring (PRTG/SolarWinds/DataDog) administration
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to produce system and process documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse and distributed team
- Excellent time and project management skills.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Associate degree in technology related field is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience required in applicable technical areas.
- A combination of the above education, certifications, and hand-on experience may be considered in satisfying the requirements of the position.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards, but does require occasional data center environment work that can subject employees to abnormal temperatures and noise levels. Position may require the ability to lift/push/pull/handle objects weighing approximately 50 pounds. Travel (less than 10%) may be required at times for training or to visit various company locations and/or regional data centers.
Must be able to participate in after-hours response to issues when necessary.
